As a Texas Discovery Gardens member, you are not only
supporting your love of our tranquil and teeming organic
Gardens, but you are also allowing other community members
to enjoy these same privileges. Your membership allows us to
offer educational programs for school children, families,
garden enthusiasts, and teachers. Your donation also allows
us to maintain the Gardens and our facilities.
Attention, Texas Discovery Gardens members! Bring your TDG membership card to the Dallas Arboretum on July 10, 2010 and receive free admission all day long! Parking fee extra.
Additionally, Dallas Arboretum members will receive free admission to Texas Discovery Gardens on July 10, 2010! Read on for details on the Arboretum:
Summer at the Dallas Arboretum: through July 31. Under the tree canopy of the Pecan Grove, four flower houses create a picturesque themed village bringing Beatrix Potter™ tales to life. The houses of Peter Rabbit™ and his friends Mrs. TiggyWinkle™, Mrs.Tittlemouse™ and Jemima Puddleduck™ create a magical experience for guests of all ages. Live animals representing the main characters in each story are on display daily from 10 am - 1 pm during the festival.
The Arboretum is in full summer bloom with bursts of color and lush tropical foliage. Peter Rabbit's™ Flower Village located under a canopy of shaded pecan trees creates a serene photo opportunity and place to picnic in the shade. The Palmer Fern Dell misting system will cool you off while you enjoy a leisurely stroll. And don't miss the spectacular Crape Myrtle Allee as it blooms into an awning of pink.
Bring a picnic or dine at either of our two restaurants. The garden is open 7 days a week from 9 am - 5 pm. Parking is $7.
