Girl Scouts
We offer Try-its and Let's Get Outdoors badge options for younger girl scouts. Older groups may be interested in working on a service project or other group activity at the Gardens.

Let's Get Outdoors for Junior Girl Scouts
Plants and Animals
Go on a plant safari in the greenhouse and learn how to propagate a plant.
Wildlife
Learn about helpful herbs and gardens creatures. Learn to identify and avoid harmful insects.
Pricing and Booking Information
Program Length: Plan on spending 45 minutes to an hour per program.

Program Cost: $5 per child, with a minimum group rate of $60. One free adult per five children; $1.50 per additional adult.

Texas Discovery Gardens Provides: Garden Educator; craft and educational supplies.

Availability: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.

To book a scout program, you must complete the following:
1. Contact our Education Department to set a date and time for your preferred program.
2. Submit a 50% non-refundable deposit.* We accept check, VISA, MasterCard, and/or cash.
3. Booking confirmation will be emailed or faxed to you in the form of a completed invoice.

*remaining fees due upon arrival.
