Seedling Scientists Summer Camp
June 5-9, 2017
4th-5th Grade

Join us in our BRAND NEW camp as we explore the really cool world of plants! From the animals that depend on plants to inventions that use plants, we will explore it all! Includes a field trip to the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park!


Wiggly Week Bug Camp; Session 1
June 12-16, 2017
4-5 years old

Have fun learning all about arthropods and meet our six, eight and hundred-legged friends. Includes a field trip to the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park!


Outdoor Art Summer Camp
June 19-23, 2017
2nd-4th Grade

Explore different artistic methods as we learn how to recreate what we see in nature! A field trip to the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park is included.


Backyard Buddies Summer Camp
July 10-14, 2017

Land to Sea Summer Camp with the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park
July 17-21, 2017
4th-5th Grade

Take a journey from land to sea! We start the week at Texas Discovery Gardens, learning all about what lives in a garden. Includes a sleepover Thursday night at the Aquarium. Details at www.childrensaquariumfairpark.com.


Jr. NEAT Camp
August 3-4, 7-11, 2017
6th-8th Grade

Middle Schoolers: join the Junior Nature Educators at TDG! At our Counselor-in-Training style camp, learn more about plants and build a leadership team. Then, assist our youngest campers of the summer! *Thursday, August 3 is a half-day. We will meet 12:30-3:30.


Budding Botanists Summer Camp
August 7-11, 2017 Ages 3-5

Even the youngest campers can still have fun as they learn about what a plant needs to grow, and get messy doing a few experiments! A field trip to the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park is included.

August 14-18, 2017 4-6 years old; 2nd - 4th Grade

Policies/FAQs

Camps run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.
We offer Pre-care & Post-care.
Pre-care (8 am drop off) is $20/week/child.
Post-care (pick up at 5:30 pm) is $35/week/child and includes a snack.

My child has a summer birthday. What age group is he/she considered?
Children must be the age of the camp by June 1 or going into the grade level listed. We also require your child has previous classroom experience.

What does my child need to bring?
A lunch (that requires neither refrigeration nor a microwave), a hat, and a water bottle. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen at home! We provide an afternoon snack.

Each weekly camp is $210; $178 for TDG members. If you book siblings and/or more than one class, you'll receive an additional 10% discount.

Monday June 26, 2017 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. ; 3-4 years old

Young ones can learn all about the bugs in their backyard – and get home by naptime! $20; $17/members.

All About Bugs Day Camp
Tuesday, June 27, 2017 3-5 years old
Wednesday, June 28, 2017 6-9 years old

Our day is full of bug encounters, songs, games and crafts! $35; $30/members.

Each day camp is $35; $30 for TDG members. Half Day Camps are $20/$17. With an additional child or a session booked, there is a 10% discount (available once).
